SPLIT BOTTOM BANDS
Change a dull cutting position in minutes, not hours, with Valley Grinding's split bottom bands.
Split bands provide a quick change-out option through a unique locking device that allows them to be installed and removed without having to disassemble your machine. Simply remove and replace one half of the split band without removing any shafts or gears.
Spit bottom bands are made with through-hardened, D-2 material to improve wear resistance and impact strength for stronger, longer lasting parts. The superfinished cutting edges reduce friction between bottom band and top slitter so you can experience:
- Less blade wear
- Extended run times
- Improved cut quality
- Reduction of dusting
SPLIT BAND PRODUCTS
We offer spit bands in outside diameters of 3" to 12", and can custom manufacture split bands to existing machine specifications.
