If the top blade is harder than the sleeve, the sleeve will become dented and cause issues with quality. That’s why we do a 24-point Rockwell hardness inspection around the sleeve circumference to ensure there are no soft spots. In fact, we guarantee and certify a hardness of 63Rc - 65Rc for your peace of mind.
