The holder consists of two major components.  The control body connects the holder to the dovetail and the blade cartridge holds the top slitter knife.  Each rebuild includes inspection, lubrication, and replacement of the standard wear parts.  These wear parts will be sent back to the client upon request.

Any additional parts that are worn and need to be replaced are done on a time and material basis.  When this cost reaches ½ or greater the cost of the new knife holder, the customer is notified.  Valley Grinding will bill the client for work completed and return the holder as is, or repair the holder completely, based upon what the customer would like to do.
